Haha. My mom went to Clark, Pampanga today with Dear and Nanay. And she bought loads of junk food. Hehehe. Grabe. Ubos na toh in less than a week. Anyhow, here's what's been happening to me. Ha.

Thursday

Classes were suspende in the afternoon because of the National (Public)Transportation Strike. I was kinda bummed about the suspension of classes because I had to wait for three hours, three friggin' hours in school before the announcement. Hay. And to think that I slept at dawn in order to finish my chem problem set. Very crappy. But come to think of it, I got to enjoy the afternoon kahit na nasayang yung pagpupuyat ko (Parati naman akong puyat eh..) Hehe. Anyway, Ben and I had lunch at McDo, and afterwards, we went to Robinson's Metroeast supposedly to 'window shop' but we ended up buying stuff instead. I bought a new bra (Hahahaha.) and a pair of slippers, and Ben bought a new skirt. Hehe. Grabe. Ginawa yun para sa kanya. Labo. At around 445, we went back to Katipunan because Kuya Lem was in Katipunan (Duh. Haha.) and Kuya Lem and I fetched Ming from school. So. Yun. Ang labo ng sentence construction ko. And PE class was fun. Haha. Nararamdaman kong lalakas ako pagkatapos ng sem. :)

Friday

Hmm.. Wala namang nangyari. Meron pala. Heh. Art Stud was fun. We were discussing reasons why art should be part of our curriculum. Fun. May plato at napkin pa kami. (And I find one of my classmates quite attractive. Kamukha niya si Usher/Pharell Williams. Heehee.) Also, I didn't have Bio Lab because my instructor wasn't around so by 230 in the afternoon I was amusing myself at Casaa. Haha. Loser. Loner. Went to MC with Cox and her friend, Kaye(?) to fetch Ming again. Bought stuff from National. Went to McDo to meet Kuya Lem. Went home afterwards. Slept. Watched TV. Watched Christian's concert on TV. Gawd. He is so cute. Very cute. Hahaha :) Mahusay. His take on Keith Martin's Because of You was better than the original. HAHAHA. Biased. Shit. Ang obsessed ko na ata. Di pa naman siguro. Pero nirecord ko yung pagkanta niya sa phone ko. HAHAHA.

Saturday

Woke up late. Watched TV. Bummed around. Bumming around. Haha. :) Inutusan ng ina. Yun lang. Haha :)

[Medyo malayo na to but..] One of my friends (Hi Frances!) said during our hour long discussion (Actually, siya lang yung nagsalita. Hehe) on science, love, shoes, the law, justice, philosophy, and the like that we go into relationships for aesthetic and intimacy reasons. We want to feel, to be touched, to be cared for, and stuff like that. Tama naman diba? And we want the companionship. We cannot be certain about anything in this world. As Frances put it, we are all groping in the dark. And wouldn't it be less daunting if we have someone to hold our hand during those uncertain moments? Wouldn't it be nicer if we have someone to tell us that, Hey it's going to be alright. Sabay nating tatahakin tong madilim at nakakatakot na mundo? Hehe. Corny na siya. Sign na na dapat ko na tong tapusin :)

Ho hum. It's been quite awhile since I've been here. Hehe. Kakatamad mag update. Anyhow, I feel so battered today and yesterday and the day before yesterday. It's because I've had my first 'real' PE class last Monday. And I was so friggin' worked out even though our class lasted for some 30 minutes. My arms are dead or they're probably having a very slow death. My chest on the other hand, feels as if an elephant sat down on it. Grabe. Pagkatapos ng klase ko nun (Math time), sobrang di ako makasulat. Haaay... And you must know that I have PE (Self-Defense for Women) tomorrow at 7 am. Doing the exercises were tiring and all, but I think I'm going to have fun. Sana gumanda rin kahit konti katawan ko at sana lumakas ako. :) Abs na ba ito? :p

Hmm.. I watched Bcuz of U with Ben last Friday. Hehe. It was ok. Cliched pero ayos lang. :) Kilig-deprived kasi ako kaya sa sinehan na lang nagtitiyaga. Haaay. How pathetic can I get?!??! :) Hahaha.

Went to MCHS Fair last Saturday with my sisters and my dad. Wala naman kaming ginawa. Bumili lang ako ng palda at sumakay sa caterpillar kasama si Tibs. I miss being in high school... *sigh*

So... Schoolwork's been piled up. Haaay. Ang daming mga problem solving blah sa Chem at Math... Hay. I better get moving... And, I have to read stuff for Art Stud andBio. Ganito na kaya ang gagawim ko buong buhay ko? Mag-aral at mag-aral pa..? Hehehe :p

Hmm.. Nakakatamad mag update. Anyhow, the first week of classes is done.. Grabe. Napapagod ako kaagad at saka parang ang daming ginagawa. Ayaw ko na ngang mag bio lab eh. Haaay... Ayoko ng microscope. Hehehe. Lumang luma na ata yun. :) Ang masaya ngayong sem ay mukhang mababait ang aking mga guro. Hehe. Out of my six professors/instructors, three have Ph.D.'s. La lang. :) Katuwa. :p Pero kinakabahan din ako. Will have to study more. And focus more. Will do better. *Nerd. Hahaha.* I pretty much can't think of anything else to say.

Ay! I attended the Days with Lord Anniversary Mass last Saturday night. It's been quite a while since I last saw Mommy Camille and my other batchmates. Ang saya. :) *Day by day... Oh dear Lord three things I pray...*

Anyhow, last week was reg week in UP. I'll give a not so blow-by-blow account of what happened. :)

Wednesday
Woke up at around 630 in the morning, ate breakfast, and all that. I left the house with Kuya Lem at around 800 and we arrived at aroung 830. I went to the Faculty Center (FC) to get my Socio 10 and Comm 3 grades. (I got a 1.25 for Socio. Haha. Sobrang unexpected. :p I didn't get my Comm 3 class card yet because there was a long line in front of the speech comm and theater arts window.) After that, I then proceeded to the College of Science to get my Form 5A, which is the Pre-Enlistment/CRS form..
*Because I have to make it fast*
- Got my Comm 3 class card. Haba ng pila. Grabe.
- Went to Albert Hall (AH) to pre-advise and get my MBB 10 class card (Sir Tim's really nice. Hehe :p)

- Went to the Institute of Biology (IB) to enlist for Bio 11. Buti na lang mabilis ang proseso dun at wala masyadong tao. Saw Brian, my blockmate. :)
- Went back to CS with Brian because we had to get our Form 5's. Saw Cynric, Dindin, Schubert, and June there :)

- Rode with Dindin to AH to post-advise
- Went back to CS (again!) for library clearance and assessment - Had lunch with Kuya Lem and his friend at KFC
- Went back to the University with Ben
- Waited for Kuya Lem to have his fees assessed
- Went home

Thursday
- Kuya Lem 'drove' us to school. Haha. Yey!
- Paid our fees at AS
- Waited for two long hours for Kuya Lem's friends and for Cox
- Went to Robinson's Metroeast with Kuya Lem, Kred, and Glen (who are both my cousin's friends)
- Bought lunch from KFC
- Watched the Manchurian Candidate . I love Denzel Washington! :)
- Went back to Katipunan. Bought notebooks from National
- Dropped off Kuya Lem's friends at PHAN
- Fetched Ming at Miriam
- Went home. Stopped at Writeplace to buya Math notebook

Hmm.. So that's it. Sobrang madali. Grabe. Been bumming around since Friday. Haha. Pasukan na naman. :p And I have a ring back. Si Christian Bautista. Haha. Shucks. Ang babaw. :) Hehehe. La lang. Tawagan niyo ko para marinig niyo yun! Heehee. :) My Bio 11's scheduled at 100-530 in the afternoon every Tuesdays and Fridays. And classes start on the 9th. Excited? Siguro. :) Bago na namang sem. :) Haaay... FOCUS. FOCUS. FOCUS.

Anyhow, we (that means everyone in our and Nanay's household except Tatay and my Dad (He went to Pangasinan by the way.)) went to Market! Market! last Saturday. My mom, aunts, and sisters bought a lot of stuff. I on the other hand, chose not to purchase anything because I didn't have enough money/cash. (As if I had a choice..) HA! I would've bought something... Probably a new pair of shoes, a new skirt, or the cute stuffed gorilla I saw in some stall. Hahaha. :) I would have ended up with nothing, it's a good thing my mom bought me a top and a skirt from Kamiseta. I was so torn between this printed skirt and top, and this white skirt (which I absolutely loved.) I first bought the white skirt, but I ended up returning it (because I couldn't find a top to match) and exchanging it for the printed one. Ngayon nagsisisi ako na pinapalit ko pa siya. Haaay. I will buy that skirt soon. Hehehe. :) After all the crazy shopping, we went to my mom's office because she had to pick up stuff (i.e. Kamote, Hehehe). Got home at around 730 pm. Heehee.

Yesterday, we went to Church and watched loads of TV. My sisters watched a 13-hour Simpsons marathon. Ang haba nun. I slept yesterday afternoon and I dreamt something about Christian Bautista. HAHA! Grabe na ito. I really find him quite adorable. Sana makita ko siya nang personal. Haaay... Sana kantahan niya ko. Bwahaha. :p Hmm.. My dad and Kuya Lem also arrived from Pangasinan. And my dad showed me a picture of his mom and dad (my grandparents!). Kamukha ko daw yung lola ko. :) Sa bagay, magkapangalan kami - Franci/esca. Pero kamukha din daw ni Jolina. :p Watched bits of Underworld on Star Movies. I was a little confused because I wasn't able to watch the start of the film. Ok lang siya. Pwede na. :)

I was blog-hopping before I blogged and I read something that Loreen wrote about migration. I don't know if after college, I'll leave the Philippines. What I do know is that you can't blame those who are leaving the country because they're leaving. If they think that they will become happier in the States for instance, who are we to deny them of such opportunity? Moreover, the current administration isn't very effective in terms of providing jobs for new graduates. Dumadami yung mga nagsisipagtapos pero yung mga trabaho hindi naman. Yung ibang mga nagsipagtapos walang market dito. Pano na yun? I wouldn't want to leave the Philippines after I graduate (if I graduate...) I want to be here in order to serve my people. (One could argue that you could serve Filipinos abroad...) Basta yun. I want to stay but it might be difficult to make that choice because molecular biologists don't have a 'market' here. I remember Vigile saying last year that it's depressing to think and to feel that as much as you want to be patriotic, it is difficult to love your country because of all the crap that's happening around... Parang ganun.. Hehe. :)
